The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) is dedicated to building partnerships with two-year and community colleges offering programs that align with CALS` mission. Articulation agreements are an important way to do this. An articulation agreement coincides with the course work between schools and aims to help students smoothly transition to CALS. The Fashion Institute of Technology has concluded transfer agreements with the schools on this list. Students interested in switching to FIT are encouraged to speak with a homeschool transfer counsellor. The articulation agreement between the Fashion Institute of Technology and Bergen Community College allows students of the Bergen Fashion Apparel Design, A.A.S. program, to apply for FIT`s Fabric Styling Bachelor program. In the case of admission, students are accepted as juniors (fifth semester) and can complete the bachelor`s degree requirements in at least two years. A maximum of 64 credits will be used to obtain the Bachelor`s programme at SUNY Delhi. This articulation agreement allows students graduating from the A.A.S. program. Herkimer in business fashion buying and merchandising who have an AMP of 3.0 to apply for FIT`s bachelor programs in the following areas: Direct and Interactive Marketing; entrepreneurship; Home products development; International trade and marketing or production management.
